Do you ever feel like your mind is spilling over with all the things?
It is so easy for our minds to get cluttered.
I don’t know about you, but every now and then I get overstimulated, and then overwhelm starts to set in!
While consuming media and handling things that we need to deal with on a daily basis aren’t bad things, it is important to take care of your mind. There are many effective ways to do this, but one of my absolute favorites (and truly most simple!) is to do a brain dump.
This is definitely not the first time we’ve chatted about brain dumps around here, but I was so surprised that I didn’t actually have a post solely dedicated to it! I included a couple of helpful, related posts below if you’d like to catch up!
I’m very excited to share with you something new to me (and maybe to you!) that I think is going to be so helpful with clearing my mind and making space for what I can control! I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Cultivate What Matters for sending me over this gorgeous brain dump journal and blooms pen set to share with you!
Grab your coffee (or fave beverage!) and let’s go through it together!
Refresh Brain Dump Journal

Meet Cultivate What Matters Refresh Brain Dump Journal with its beautifully brand-new cover that launched last week!
I was captivated by this gorgeous gold-striped journal as soon saw it advertised online. A little gold really elevates things, doesn’t it? It even has a gold coil to boot!
As I unwrapped the journal from its packaging, I realized this book is thick! It has space for over 100 brain dumps. I love that it’s long-lasting!
In case you missed it, you can take a quick flip-through of this beautiful brain dump journal with me on Instagram!

By the way, I’m really enjoying the Blooms Pen Set – they are so beautifully designed, black (gel) ink, and write so, so smoothly!
So before I received this journal, below will give you a good idea of what a brain dump looks like for me. I just use any piece of paper or notepad and start jotting things down that come to mind.

Once I’m done, I move to-do’s over to my planner and get started on checking things off.
This method has worked well for me over the years, but I was really excited to give the Refresh Brain Dump Journal a try! I’m already a fan of the PowerSheets Goal Planner and thought it would be really neat to try a journal designated just to brain dumps!

The photo above is the brain dump I just did this morning using this journal.
I really love the brain dump method Cultivate What Matters created. It’s very informative and easy to follow! Basically, you start off by capturing your thoughts (on the left page) and then you sort those thoughts in a quadrant (on the right page). You get to pick the category titles for each section.

Next, you can move onto a list page that looks like the page above for all of your to-do’s or onto a journal page that just allows you to sketch/write anything you like to release emotions you’re feeling. I haven’t tried that one yet!
Here is a deep-dive from Cultivate What Matters right here on everything brain dump journal related!
You can see I’ve checked off some of these items today and I’m feeling good about it! I’d love to put together a YouTube video and walk you through this journal a little more with an update of how I’m using it later on.

That’s a wrap on this beautiful Refresh Brain Dump Journal post, sweet friends! I hope you’ll find it to be the perfect tool to help declutter your mind – one brain dump at a time. 🙂 I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
