Mother's Day Gifts You Can Grab Today (No Shipping Required!)

Mother’s Day is just around the corner!

If you’re short on time—or just don’t want to wait on shipping—I put together this short and sweet post just for you filled with last-minute Mother’s Day gift!

Whether you’re shopping on a budget, want something meaningful, or simply forgot (no shame!), these gift ideas are easy to grab, affordable, and sure to make any mom feel loved.

Grab your coffee or favorite beverage and let’s dive in!

Coffee Bouquet

Speaking of coffee, you know I couldn’t make this list without mentioning it. So, we’ll just get it out of the way first, haha!

How to Dress Up Gifts for Flower Lovers

You have probably seen these circulate on Facebook or Pinterest. I think they’re beautiful!

Coffee and flowers are an incredible combo. My local coffee shop actually puts bouquets together for special holidays, but you could absolutely do this yourself and probably save some money that way. Oftentimes, stores like Kroger or Target have smaller bouquets for $10-$20 and you could just grab a coffee from your mom’s favorite place. Gift complete!

Outdoor Flowers

While fresh flowers are always beautiful, they unfortunately do not last long! One way to cure that and give your mom something that will last a little longer is to buy a pretty pot of flowers (or you could put one together yourself!) or hanging basket. I’ve bought hanging baskets a ton in the past since they usually last all spring/summer long with a little TLC.

Grab Dinner at a Restaurant

Sometimes the easiest thing you can do is to take your sweet mom out to lunch or dinner! This gives you time to spend together, a delicious meal and/or dessert, and also saves you from having to do a lot of work in the kitchen if you’re pressed for time. If your mom is like mine and doesn’t love crowds on the actual holiday, you can do this earlier in the week!

Book Basket

For the moms who love to read, a DIY book basket is a quick and easy idea! You can grab a cute basket (the Dollar Tree usually has some cute ones if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option!) and fill it with a book she will love, and some of her favorite snacks.

P.S. If your mom is more of a movie-watcher, you could do the same thing and just sub a DVD for the book. 😉

Gift Card

Probably the simplest last-minute Mother’s Day gift to purchase on this list, but hey, it makes for a fantastic gift! I don’t know many people who don’t enjoy getting gift cards and it makes it nice because they can choose what they want. You could get a gift card/certificate to your mom’s favorite restaurant, movie theater, or a fun place she enjoys shopping. An Amazon gift card is always a good option if your mom shops online – my Kroger sells them.

Notebook/Journal Set

HanCanPlan Stickers

While you know I am obsessed with my Erin Condren LifePlanner, this post is all about zero shipping required…so that means picking up a cute notebook or journal at a store near you! Honestly, I have found some really cute ones at my Walmart and if you have a TJMaxx nearby, that’s probably my go-to place for cute stationary. You can pair it with a nice pen(s), a to-do list pad and even some fun stickers!

DIY Spa Night Set

Pick up a face mask, bath bomb, nail polish, and cozy socks (who doesn’t love cozy socks?!). Wrap it all up in a cute basket with cellophane and tie with a bow. Instant relaxation for your momma!

Go to Church with Her

It costs you nothing except for your time. 🙂 This one has meant the most to my mom probably over everything. There was a time when I didn’t go to church for a few years (still loved the Lord, I just got hurt at that particular church and took me a bit to get myself back into it), but it meant the world to her when I would go sit with her on Mother’s Day. I saw the same for other ladies in our church too.

Create a Memory Jar

Write small notes about your favorite memories with your mom or encouraging notes for her, fold them up, and fill them inside of a mason jar. It’s heartfelt and will last long after Mother’s Day!

Make a Meal or Dessert

I’m currently working this out as I type, but I plan on making something for Mother’s Day and bringing it with me in a crockpot so that it can stay plugged in at my parents while we are at church. You could do something quick and easy like spaghetti and garlic bread, beef and noodles (you can grab the Reames or no-yolk noodles to make it easy!), or a pot roast with veggies.

chocolate cool whip icing recipeGooey Butter Cookies

For dessert, I’m planning on making my chocolate mayo cake. My parents love it and it’s my most requested recipe of everything I’ve ever made. Best of all, it’s easy to whip together! Another easy dessert, but one that doesn’t have chocolate, are my gooey butter cookies! They are so quick to make and absolutely delicious, they are always a hit wherever I take them. I hope both of these recipes help you if you’re looking for a dessert to make!

Mother's Day Gifts You Can Grab Today (No Shipping Required!) PIN

That’s a wrap on this post, sweet friends! I hope it helped you get some ideas for a last-minute Mother’s Day gift if you needed it, or maybe something you can use for another time to treat your sweet momma! 🙂 I’d love to hear your thoughts on these gift ideas and if you’re finished up with your shopping!

I love that you can do these without having to worry about something arriving on time. My daughter made a memory jar for our anniversary ages ago. Love the idea of a coffee/flowers or book basket!

I especially loved the coffee bouquet and the memory jar those are such personal touches that really show you care. And making a meal or dessert is always a winner there’s nothing quite like a homemade treat. You’ve definitely given some great inspiration here.
