Who is wondering if we will actually use our planners this year?
We definitely got thrown for a loop this time last year when Covid began to rise, and then most (if not all) of our plans got cancelled. Thus, no true need for a planner.
As much as I love planning, I had a difficult time navigating through it in 2020. But now that we are starting a new, bright and magical year, I am so ready to get back to my normal planning!
Back in December, I was walking through TJMaxx when I came across this Fringe 2021 Planner. The beautiful cover design caught my eye right away and I fell in love with it! I knew I just had to buy it. So today, before I start planning away for this year, I wanted to share with you a page-by-page review.Ā
Maybe youāve never heard of Fringe before or seen their planners, or if you have but just wanted to take a look inside before buying – this post is for you!
The Cover
I absolutely love this beautiful blue and pink floral design. The front and back cover are super sturdy.

Inside the Fringe 2021 Planner
Immediately after opening the planner, youāll find this sleeve. I always find these handy for any notes or papers that I need to have with me at the time.Ā

Then you go into the 2021 and 2022 mini-calendar section as well a place to keep track of contacts. I usually donāt use the contacts section in any planner, but thatās just me. They give you plenty of room for those, if itās something you use often.Ā

For each month, you start with this beautiful pink cover that is always accompanied with an inspirational quote. Iām a sucker for those!Ā

The very next page is your month āat a glanceā sheet. I really loved this when I first picked up this planner! If youāve been here for awhile, you know how passionate I am about goal-setting. Itās so helpful to have one place that you can write down all of your goals. I will likely use some of the anniversaries/birthdays sections on this page for my goals, too.

Now you have your monthly calendar with plenty of space to write in any important appointments, to-doās, etc. I really love how clean this spread is, as well as the planner in its entirety. Iāve always been a color girl, but honestly seeing this mostly pink-and-grey color scheme is just so perfect to me.

I love how spacious the daily section is! This probably provides more space for me to write things down than any other planner that Iāve used before. Iām not saying you always need this kind of space, but I love having the option. Plus, I have a ton of pretty stickers that could help fill up the space if my words canāt, haha!

At the end of the planner, it wraps up with a list of 2021 Holidays. Plus, there are various sections for notes throughout the planner.

Thatās a wrap for my Fringe 2021 Planner Review, friends! I couldn’t find the same cover design on Fringe’s website or Amazon Shop, but I did find a few that I think are beautiful and would be worth checking out.

Once I’m brave enough to write in this beautiful planner (anyone else get really frantic before writing in your planner for the first time?!), I plan on sharing some photos of how I plan on my IG stories and giving you updates of how it’s working for me.

I hope youāve enjoyed taking a look inside this beautiful planner. Let me know what you think of it in the comments, and if youāve ever owned a Fringe planner before!

![Thoughts on 2020 & My Word for 2021 BEFORE READ-MORE Letās be honest, 2020 was a tough year! I had a whole lot of beautifully-laid out plans that unfortunately just didnāt happen. Partly because of the pandemic, and partly because of my mindset. I found myself just sort of depressed and couldnāt really find the motivation I needed. Thankfully, ever since the holidays, Iāve felt like this universal shift is coming and things are going to be so much brighter this year. Iām definitely pouring all of my positive energy into making my goals happen this year, no matter what things look like with the pandemic. I have to realize that itās not within my control what happens in the world. I just have control over myself. I wanted to share with you my biggest takeaways from last year. I want to stay mindful of these three things during 2021, and beyond. Plus, Iāll be sharing my word for this year at the bottom! Take Care of Your Loved Ones This past year tore us away from our family and friends. It was heartbreaking for so many, especially to those who are now grieving over some of them. As each year passes, it is almost always on my mind that some of my loved ones may not make it to see another year. That probably sounds very morbid and daunting, and is probably just a result of my life experiences. But it has opened my eyes to really pay special attention to those I love the most. I want to show them that I care while they are here. I want them to know without a doubt that Iām there for them and will do anything in my power to help them. I work very hard to not take anyone for granted because we never know when our time is up. Protect Your Peace I learned how important protecting my peace was last year. I felt like I was going through a multitude of things. Some of the things that were bothering me the most, I couldnāt even control and didnāt directly involve me. They involved loved ones. Iām sure many of you have had similar situations where you have family members that can sometimes play a toxic role in your life. As a result, I really needed to rely on creating healthy boundaries and sticking to those. Itās an ongoing difficult situation for me, but I have truly handled it better than I ever have before. I hope to continue to grow in this area and get better with those healthy boundaries. Try to Control What You Can Control (Not What You Canāt) This one is pretty much directly tied to what I just mentioned about protecting my peace. Iāve spent so much time (that I can never get back) stressing myself out over things I canāt control. Mostly in regard to loved ones, but also the world as a whole. While I choose not to talk politics in this space, I think we all can agree that things have just been a mess in the United States for the past year and even right now. The pandemic, the mud-slinging, all of the sad news thatās plastered all over the tv or our social media...itās just exhausting. I just had to cut out most of the news because it was so depressing. Short of voting and praying for things to get better, thatās really all I can control. The rest of it will be what it will be, and Iām really trying to remind myself that each day. My Word for 2021 is Growth Iāve been flip-flopping between āchangeā and āgrowthā for my word this year. I realized what I wanted for this year was way more like āgrowthā than āchange.ā My thought process on using āchangeā was that I was creating these new habits that were going to be life-changing and help really boost me to achieving my goals. When I thought about it a little more, I realized āgrowthā really summarizes what I want to embody this year the best. It still requires change to happen, but it just seems like a better fit to choose āgrowth.ā [PIN] I hope youāve gained a little something from reading this post, friend. Iām wishing you an amazing week filled with lots of joy. ust on a fun side note, Iām looking forward to watching The Bachelor and WandaVision this week. Looks like a great planner! I have one from a german blogger this year who is called Carmushka. First I was thinking if I should really get the calendar cause it was pretty pricey but now I adore it so much! I looks really pretty and has tons of helpful pages. Best investment in my goals and mental health.

Me too, Tiziana! š I’m so happy you found one you love. It sounds amazing! It’s crazy how helpful a planner can be in helping you reach your goals and just getting an overall better mindset. I can understand on the pricey not. I’ve paid a pretty penny for some planners, but they’re usually worth it!
Overall it looks like a great planner! It looks like the kind of planner I would use if I didn’t buy one already!

I hear you, Allie! It has not been a peppy start, but sadly, most of that is not within our control. Thank you so much on the planner note! I’m really enjoying it and the cover always makes me smile. š Wishing you an amazing week, friend!
I agree! It was hard to plan anything in 2020… I couldn’t even plan a day ahead most of the time! This planner reminds me a lot of my Erin Condren planner. The cover is so pretty!
